We stumbled upon a delightfully quirky old house with a captivating eco vibe. From upgraded rooms to heartfelt chats with the owner over breakfast, every moment felt personal. Dogs ran freely in vast gardens while we enjoyed fantastic food, making our stay utterly memorable. Truly a hidden gem!

I loved that this place was just over 2 km from Clan Gunn Museum and surrounded by beautiful walking paths through meadows and woodlands, creating the perfect atmosphere for me to relax and explore. plus, the warm hospitality from the owners helped make my single night stay truly enjoyable.

Consider requesting a room away from the common area for a quieter experience during your stay.

Our group getaway was fantastic! We loved exploring John o' Groats and the stunning countryside. The full Scottish breakfast was perfect after our long hikes, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Definitely a great spot to recharge after seeing...

The noise from the adjacent sitting room can be quite disruptive during early hours!!! I wasn't fond of having to share a bathroom with others, which seemed inconvenient at times!!!

Stunning location with welcoming hosts

I had a fantastic one-night stay in a lovely double room with a private bathroom just across the hallway. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided excellent recommendations for local activities that made my visit unforgettable. The property is set amongst beautiful meadows and woodland, with the delightful sounds of nature providing a serene atmosphere. Although my stay was brief, the comfort and charm left me wishing for more time to explore the area.

Staying with my family for two nights offered us a warm welcome in a beautiful yet rustic setting, though the lack of a wardrobe in our room was a slight inconvenience. The grounds are stunning and the breakfast was incredible, making our visit truly enjoyable.

The grounds are stunning, with beautiful walks. The craft shop had amazing local treasures, perfect for gifts. The family atmosphere made us feel so welcome, and we enjoyed a cozy guest lounge with a kitchenette....

A great setting in Latheron surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. I enjoyed the quietness and the charm of the place. lots of outdoor space to explore. The breakfast options were fantastic and filling, fueling me up for a long day ahead. I encountered a minor issue with the evening meals, as they weren't available, which limited dining options nearby. I also noticed the interior was a bit dated, but it added character. it felt very relaxing, and I appreciated the comfortable room I stayed in.

It was just a fitting option for a city holiday in Latheron with definitely value for money. The breakfast servings, though small, were adequate to start the day. Try to request a room away from the common areas for a quieter experience.
